The Day When Internal Insulation is Installed
Once we arrive at your home, our professionals will use a process that essentially injects a material in the spaces between your walls.
This insulation is made up of small polystyrene beads (known as EPS beads). The spaces between the beads provide a thermal barrier between rooms (and between the interior of your home and the outside environment). The good news is that the process itself is straightforward.
The length of time will normally depend upon how many wall cavities need to be upgraded. However, many projects can be completed within a single day. Keep in mind that we can address difficult-to-reach areas such as loft walls and locations around a conservatory.
The Benefits of Obtaining New Internal Wall Insulation
There are many advantages for you to enjoy. For example, modern internal wall insulation can last for the lifespan of your home.
This is why Installers UK provides a 25-year CIGA warranty for all of our installation projects. As if this guarantee were not enough, it has also been shown that the addition of modern internal insulation can save you up to £200 each year in terms of energy costs.
So, it only stands to reason that determining if you qualify for a grant is important.

Useful Information
Reduce your heating bill for free
The UK’s insulation grants, such as ECO scheme, are government schemes funded by the UK’s largest utility companies, including the so-called ‘Big Six’. These companies are duly obliged to offer grants that can help those in need to enhance the energy efficiency of their homes for good, without costing you a penny.
The grants available with the ECO3 and Local Authority Flex Funding schemes tend to cover many different types of insulation, depending on your property age and type. This includes cavity wall and loft insulation, as well as first time central heating and boiler replacements.
How is the Boiler Grant free?
New A-rated boiler grants are also offered as part of the ECO scheme, helping households with the opportunity for inefficient boilers to be replaced completely free of charge, or heavily subsidised.
Providing your boiler is more than five-years-old or deemed as faulty and a homeowner, you should be eligible for a new A-rated boiler, installed by Registered GAS SAFE and Governments Trustmark installer and will come with a guarantee.
For older and more in-efficient properties, grant funding is more likely to cover full costs. If you have a very efficient property, You may need to contribute a small amount to cover the cost of the boiler install this will advised to you before any works are carried out.
How long does installation take?
Most properties can have cavity wall and loft insulation installed in just a few hours, although larger households may require an entire day for installation.

Benefits of cavity wall insulation
Cavity wall insulation requires the installation of insulating material in the cavity (space) between two layers of brick. This can be done at the time of a build or as a retrofit measure. Here are five key benefits to cavity wall insulation that you might be able to receive without having to spend a penny of your hard-earned money:
- Available for free if you qualify for government ECO or LA FLEX grant schemes
- Keep more of your property’s heat that is lost through uninsulated walls
- Maintaining a good temperature for your home offers comfort and health benefits
- Cavity wall insulation helps reduce your property’s carbon footprint
- Cavity wall insulation is quick and simple to retrofit when you choose an approved installer like Installers UK
Cavity walls Vs Solid walls: What’s the difference?
- Properties built after the 1920s typically have cavity walls. The cavity is the gap created by two walls of brick.
- Older properties built circa pre-1920s most commonly have solid brick or stone walls with no cavity.
Typically, properties built up to 2002 and beyond will already have cavity wall insulation, but properties older than that are unlikely to have cavity wall insulation whatsoever.
That’s where we are able to help.
We’re trained, qualified and monitored installers
At Installers UK, we have trained, highly-skilled cavity wall insulation installers approved by Governments Trustmark, Green Deal scheme and CIGA.
All our installations are initially monitored by KIWA – the cavity wall surveillance scheme that determines whether your property is suitable for the insulation.
All our installers are qualified to use Energy Store Superbead Carbon Saver BAW-18/070/02/A (see the BBA certificate in the downloadable link).
